Mindy's birthday and the loss of a loved one (don't worry, it was just the pickup)

On August 16th, we packed up and headed to Boise to spend the weekend with my amazing big sister, Mindy, and her family. It was Mindy's birthday the next morning, and we just HAD to be a part of it. Her husband, Tom, created the most awesome birthday morning, surprising her with some home cooked goodness and some great gifts! We were so happy that we could spend the day with Mindy and the family!

Another reason we went to Boise that weekend was to trade Joseph's Dodge Ram for a car. We are so grateful to Tom for helping us out with this. Even though it was like tearing a toy out of a toddler's grip to say goodbye to the pickup, we are SO happy that we did! We love the car we have now and it has helped us tremendously! And Joseph definitely doesn't look so sad anymore:) Tom and Mindy, so are so wonderful and we love coming to visit! Thank you for everything! We love you!
